- Postcard submission to chief Minister: 500 government school students from Mohanlalganj and Hardoi districts of Uttar Pradesh wrote about their concerns and problems regarding lack of teachers, and quality education on postcards.
- Teachers Interview: Interviewed 60 government school teachers from Mohanlalganj and Hardoi districts of Uttar Pradesh. Other working group members of the GAW also compiled similar information across other states in India. The information was compiled as a database to update the various state governments on the poor working conditions teachers face.
- Children's Rally at Mohanlalganj: 300 children and their parents participated in the rally, which saw the participation of the government officials and many teachers. Leading newspapers covered the event.
- Children's Rally at Ahrori: Close to 500 children and 100 parents, teachers and community members participated in the rally.
- Discussion on the problems of the school teachers
- At the national level a public hearing was organized. The demands of the teachers and students from the event were consolidated to form a memorandum and submitted to the Ministry of HRD and the Prime Minister's Office.

- Joined the Zambia National Education Coalition and other civil society organizations in advocating for recruitment of teachers.
- Selected children met with the provincial ministers, while at the national level one child from each of the nine provinces interviewed the president for an hour. The president later made an appeal to the international community to support teacher recruitment.
- Financially supported the government in recruiting 5,000 teachers, some of whom have been seconded to CARE-supported community schools.
