Education is empowering. It strengthens individuals, families and communities. CARE believes that working to improve education is one of the best investments we can make in the effort to overcome poverty. CARE seeks to ensure access to education, even in the most difficult circumstances and for the most vulnerable groups, such as refugee children and people living with HIV/AIDS.
Because education has such a profound impact on both a child's and a society's future, CARE has made it a priority for the entire organization. CARE is working with partners at the local and national level more than 35 countries to improve the quality and accessibility of basic education — helping individuals and communities reach their full potential.
