| With continued support from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, CARE seeks to incorporate lessons learned from our previous work with Roma-led CBOs and to more intensively focus resources in the youth sector with some key target groups, strengthening the voice of Roma on national development processes in Bosnian civil society during the next phase of our work. In the sixteen months ahead, CARE proposes to provide support to four Roma-led CBOs, with an emphasis on supporting their engagement in the national development strategies and supporting Roma youth engagement and empowerment in civic life in their communities. In addition, the Council of Roma, a national network of over 25 Roma CBOs, will be supported in its work on advocacy and policymaking as an important voice to articulate the needs of the Roma community. |
