Project Information

Project Name:Winter Firewood Distribution to vulnerable households, Georgia
Project Description:
The overall goal of the CARE interventions is to assist the victims of the conflict in a sustainable fashion to either return to their places of origin or to settle in new places, if so desired, and to continue assistance in the early recovery and development phase (rural development, livelihoods).
ECHO funding will target vulnerable households in the Adjacent Areas (BZ) of Shida Kartli that are poorly prepared for the winter and have no other option to provide warmth for their families in the winter.
As CARE is member of the UN-organised NFI and Shelter Working Group, all activities are carefully coordinated to avoid any risk of overlap or double funding.
