This project will be implemented in the step station 'El Espino' which is located on the Northern Border of Nicaragua, and will reach a migrant population totaling 3800 people. It includes activities that will provide greater information on prevention; improve access to services of attention and control, including counseling; and promote safe sex practices, all of which will reduce the vulnerability to STI/AIDS among migrant populations.
The project will be developed jointly with 'PROFAMILIA' (local NGO), the Ministry of Health (MINSA) in Nicaragua, and the Secretary of Health in Honduras. |
