| The overall objective of this project is to detect outbreaks of influenza and SARS-type diseases in a timely manner within the project area of influence. The project will establish a surveillance system for diseases of mandatory notification in the area covered by 31 health units within the SILAIS (Integrated Systems for Integral Healthcare) of Matagalpa and Jinotega and also strengthen outbreak response capacities (rapid response teams) in five SILAIS in northern Nicaragua. | |
