| This project aims to build local capacities in productive technology, business management and market linkages using a production chain approach in guinea pig breeding and production of mango, sweet lemon, prickly pear and cochineal. The project activities will include training, technical assistance, training of leaders, exchange of experiences (exchange visitis and fairs), training in obtaining specialized market information and equipping of models for production trials. The project will take place in the provinces of Huaylas and Yungay. In Huaylas, the project will work with 122 families in the district of Yuracmarca for the production of mango, sweet lemon, prickly pear and chochineal. In Yungay, the project will work with 78 families in the districts of Shupluy and Cascapara for breeding of guinea pig. |
