| This is a USAID funded project with 4 Consortium members (Counterpart, Mercy Corps, Save the Children, and CARE - the lead agency). DAP is an integrated project working in the field of education, health and agriculture to reduce chronic food insecurity and vulnerability of households and communities. Key focus areas are on increased utilization of food through the adoption of key maternal and child health and nutrition practices, improved sustainable availability of nutitious food in communities, increasing levels of educational achievement as a means of reducing vulnerability to food secuity threats, distribution of supplementary rations for pregnant, lactating and referral women. |
