CARE DRC is committed to promoting basic education, especially for girls and vulnerable children, in Maniema province, one of the most war affected and underserved province in DRC. This project will target 300 vulnerable children, which will include ex-child soldiers, girls of school age, displaced and poor children. The projet objectives are:
1.To ensure that of all school children, vulnerable children, are provided with alternative and non-formal education opportunities in order to develop their full potential.
2. To reintegrate children who dropped out of school for various reasons during the war, back into formal primary education systems.CARE DRC will work with local NGOs and CBOs at the grass root in order to strengthen their capacity to sutain this initiative.] |
