| The initiative envisiones to build the capacity of CARE DRC to help grass-roots women’s associations monitor, challenge and advocate for the implementation of domestic and international human rights standards, with a specific focus on issues relating to gender-based violence through: a) providing necessary technical support to enable project staff from PACDEV and Wakinamana to work more effectively with grass-roots women’s associations and CSOs; b) facilitating coordination activities between the two programs and between the programs themselves and; c) working with program staff to compile data and analysis from the field, which in turn will be used to support national-level and regional-level advocacy on issues related to sexual and gender-based violence. | |
