| Project Description: |
SCOPE-OVC is designed to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS on OVC in Zambia by mobilizing, scaling up
and strengthening community-led responses and programs benefiting OVC in 12 districts (Kalomo, Kitwe,
Livingstone, Lusaka, Mongu, Serenjie, Masaiti, Monze, Lundazi, Kabwe, Chipata, Ndola). CARE aims to build the
capacity of partners at district and community levels to effectively identify and respond to the needs of OVC. SCOPE
OVC works with the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services, Ministry of Education, Ministry of
Sports, Youth and Child Development, UNICEF, Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation and many others to develop
sustainable ways of handling OVC issues. |
