Volunteer to Collect Phones

CARE can make it easy for you, your company, school, religious or civic organizations to support CARE by recycling your old mobile phones. Start by finding out who has an older phone they no longer use. Collect phones from individuals, or ask your company to donate out-of-service corporate phones. It's simple and it's free. And best of all, it's a great way to contribute to CARE's poverty-fighting projects.

Getting Started:

If you are interested in recycling used mobile phones, we will send you a collection kit that will get you started. Your kit will include:

• Step-by-step guidelines on how to conduct a successful mobile phone collection
• Sample text to announce the program via e-mail to all employees
• Signage to use near the collection box
• Donation forms to record each gift
