Reception at the Embassy of Afghanistan with Ambassador Hamdullah Mohib, Ambassador Ryan Crocker and CARE CEO Michelle Nunn. Attendees will learn about CARE's work in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, it's difficult and often dangerous for girls to go to school. War, customs and poverty all play a role.

Since our founding, we have contributed more than $2 million toward CARE’s programs globally.
