WHAT: Actress and CARE Ambassador Sarah Michelle Gellar will attend the West Coast exclusive broadcast of A POWERFUL NOISE Live, a one-night event in honor of International Women's Day.
The documentary "A Powerful Noise," executive produced by Sheila C. Johnson, will be broadcast earlier in the evening of March 5 in New York City where it will be followed by a town hall discussion featuring Natalie Portman, Madeleine Albright, Christy Turlington Burns, Dr. Helene Gayle and Nicholas Kristof. The documentary and town hall will be broadcast into more than 450 theatres nationwide.WHO: Actress and CARE Ambassador Sarah Michelle Gellar will be joined by actresses Kelli Williams who stars on the Fox series LIE TO ME and Sharon Lawrence, who is seen on PRIVILEGED and CURB YOUR ENTHUASIAM and also serves as the chair of the Women in Film Foundation. Additional guests will be confirmed soon.
WHEN: Presented by NCM Fathom and CARE, A POWERFUL NOISE Live is in select theatres nationwide for only one night Thursday, March 5 at 8:00 p.m. P.S.T. (tape delayed). The media opportunity with Sarah Michelle Gellar at the AMC Century City 15 begins at 7:00 pm and the event begins at 8:00.
