Over the past five years, Delta has generously given over 1 million dollars of in-kind and cash support to CARE, with and additional $670,000 pledged over the next two years (2001-2002). CARE has been a signature partner of Delta's since 1998, supporting CARE's work through an invaluable travel fund, a partner in the Delta SkyWish program, cash contributions for CARE program work and other in-kind donations. Delta is a sponsor of CARE's new Youth Initiatives for 2001-2002. This year, Delta is sending high school students from Atlanta and Chicago to visit CARE programs in Guatemala and Peru during the summer of 2001.
