The Huffington Post quoted Michelle Nunn, president and CEO of CARE, in a story about the major win for the foreign assistance sector over the decision to kill a Trump Administration plan to take back over $3 billion of congressionally allocated funds. “What is a tipping point?” Nunn said. “How many times does Congress have to push back before the administration starts to work in a more cooperative way, with what is truly a bipartisan sensibility around international development, foreign affairs and diplomacy?” Read the story here.
