Women’s space facilitators training module

This curriculum attempts to bring together recent learning in the field of gender-based violence (GBV) prevention in order to create the most effective program possible for women’s space facilitators in the communities where Indashyikirwa will be implemented.

About this brief

The module was developed following the establishment of women’s spaces in Rwanda as safe venues for women to meet and interact. It is intended to improve knowledge, attitudes, skills, and actions of women in relation to GBV prevention, and to facilitate women to connect with each other on key GBV issues and support each other to collectively organize for change.

There are 3 total sessions in the curriculum and each session is a maximum of three hours.
