What are Giving Machines?

Giving Machines are a part of the Light the World initiative and are sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Latter-day Saint Charities. Through these machines, the public experiences the joy of giving and serving others in a unique, fun, and memorable way.

What does CARE do?

Founded in 1945 with the creation of the CARE Package®, CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. CARE places special focus on working alongside women and girls. Equipped with the proper resources women and girls have the power to lift whole families and entire communities out of poverty. Together with Latter-day Saint Charities, we are providing urgently needed help while also supporting projects that provide longer-term solutions to poverty. Through the Light The World campaign, CARE donations will help meet immediate needs of struggling families while also empowering communities with tools and resources to help them for the long-term.
