80 years of CARE
This week marks eight decades of the humanitarian organization CARE standing with families facing crisis around the world. On November 27, 1945, 22 American civic, relief and other charitable organizations came together in New York City to launch the Cooperative for American Remittances to Europe, the organization that would ultimately become CARE.
