  1. Why is it important to use CARE USA's online eRecruitment system?
    CARE USA's online recruitment system allows us to efficiently process your application. By using our eRecruitment system, your application will remain in our database for 12 months from your most recent update/application. It will also enable us to find you if a position arises that is a strong match for what you have to offer.

  2. Can I submit a resume for vacancies without an online application?
    No. To be considered for vacancies, it is a requirement that you must submit an online application before the vacancy is closed for recruitment.

  3. Can I submit a paper application?
    No. Applications for vacancies must be submitted online. They are no longer be accepted by other means (paper, email, fax, etc.). This will ensure that your information is captured in our database.

  4. How will I know if my application and resume were received?
    You will receive an acknowledgement via email.

  5. I would like CARE to keep a copy of my resume on file. How can I submit my resume if I am not applying for a specific job?
    Please submit a general application (you can do so at the bottom of the job search page). However, keep in mind that this will not automatically apply you to any position. You must apply directly for any position in which you wish to be considered.

  6. I cannot attach my resume/CV to my application. What should I do?
    Our system allows for attachments up to 4 MB, please check your file size, reduce if necessary and attach. We suggest that your resume be no longer than 2-3 pages.

  7. How do I edit my application?
    To edit your application, log back into your profile and submit changes.

  8. What happens after I submit my application?
    Your application and qualifications will be considered for the open positions you specified. If selected, a recruiter will contact you for a phone screen. If successful, your information will be referred to the hiring manager who will review and determine which applicants to contact for interviews. The recruiter will contact applicants directly. **Please allow up to 3 weeks after submitting an application to be contacted by a recruiter. NOTE: Due to the high volume of applicants, please do not submit an application more than once as this will further delay the process.

  9. How do I check the status of my application?
    Log back into your profile. Your application status will appear in the top left hand corner of your profile. If you encounter any technical difficulties with the online process, you can email us at eRecruitmentSupport@care.org. Please allow 48 hours for a response.
