Country Description:
CARE opened its office in Thailand in 1979 to provide emergency relief in the form of food, clothing and medical assistance to Cambodian refugees in camps along the Thai-Cambodian border. CARE Thailand currently has projects in agroforestry and conservation, children's education, small enterprise development, and HIV/AIDS-prevention education and assistance to affected families.
