"The Devil's Miner," a film by Kief Davidson and Richard Ladkani, will be shown at a special screening at the Amnesty International Film Festival in Los Angeles today. The film, which tells the story of child mine workers in Bolivia, will be introduced by acclaimed director Oliver Stone.
Following the screening, the filmmakers will join a panel discussion including CARE staff discussing the Progressive Elimination and Prevention of Child Labor in Mining project.
The CARE project, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor through a cooperative agreement, works to eliminate the worst forms of child labor through education. Click here for more information or to support CARE's work in Bolivia.
