| Project Description: |
| The objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity of Serbian key organisations (NGOs) and their collaboration with authorities and other institutions in their work to combat trafficking. This will be achieved by strengthening the capacity of the 6 partner organisations (ASTRA, Anti-Trafficking Centre and Roma Information Centre, Women`s peace group “Esperanca”, The Girl’s Center from Užice, NGO Iskra) to raise awareness on trafficking and to act as national resource centers. The project will also support specific communes and their work to combat trafficking through increased cooperation between NGOs and local authorities. Another aspect of the project is to increase capacity and awareness among Roma youth on issues related to trafficking mainly through education and information. |
