| Project Description: |
| The purpose of this program is to carry out projects of social infrastructure mainly aimed at health improvement with funds provided by the Honduran Fund of Social Investment under Strategic Partnership. This program is focused in the poor rural areas, mainly in the areas of school construction, water and sanitation and housing as a strategy to fight different diseases through the improvement of household conditions. CARE can participate as a builder, supervisor and/or trainer. The program aims to strengthen local and municipal capabilities and to help in the Honduran Government's decentralization and poverty fighting strategies. |
