CARE is one of several sub-contractors being financed by the World Bank through the Government of Mali.
CARE is responsible for overseeing micro-project activities undertaken by grassroots organizations working in the
project area. CARE has developed a system that evaluates and identifies the most credible bids for local
infrastructure development. In addition to its oversight responsibility, CARE negotiates and manages the contract
with successful bidders, and continues its support in the execution of the micro-project by providing technical
assistance to project partners. |
