| Project Name: | Strengthening Civil Society Organizations to respond to the Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza |
| Project Description: |
| This project aims to help preserve and nurture civic space in Gaza and enable a more effective response to the current crisis. It will strengthen the capacity of a small number of key CSOs to deliver essential services in agriculture, health, and water and sanitation, and to continue to work for the social good. This support will allow them to engage ordinary people in social processes that benefit the whole community and hold decision makers accountable, and to continue to promote diversity of thought. In particular, these organizations will provide opportunities for the most marginalized - women, youth, and the very poor - to participate in civic activities. In order to enhance and sustain the effectiveness of these CSOs, the project will work with them to improve their governance structures and processes. |
