| Project Description: |
ZIHP addresses the main health problems of the people of Zambia and contributes to the process of health
reform. Its objectives are to: 1) increase the capacity of recipients to implement, monitor and evaluate health
interventions; 2) increase quality coverage of health interventions in the districts; 3) strengthen programmatic links with District Health Management Teams and other partners in the implementation of population, health and nutrition activities; 4) to increase the teams' capacities to serve and respond to needs of hard-to-reach communities; and 5) to increase recipients' ability to sustain health interventions. |
