CARE USA welcomed global thought leaders, congressional members and staff, and development professionals to the Helene D. Gayle Global Development Symposium on March 16, 2017, in Washington DC. While celebrating the contributions of CARE’s former President and CEO, Helene D. Gayle, speakers from the global development field explored topics critical to helping girls achieve their rights and fulfill their potential, and ways to deliver lasting change to women and girls in need. More than 250 participants joined CARE on Capitol Hill to discuss these important topics.
