VSLA by the Numbers
CARE's VSLA By the Numbers is an independent analysis by an external agency of Village Savings and Loan Associations across six countries, finding a 7:1–20:1 return on CARE's investment along with strong gains in members' savings, income, food security, and women's leadership — plus evidence that these gains held up well through COVID-19.

Following Her Dreams: Women for Change Case Study
Kouassi Akissi Rodiasse is 30 years old and married with three children. She lives in Kragui-Méagui in the South West of Côte d’Ivoire. She has been a member of her Village Savings & Loan Association (VSLA), supported by CARE and Mars, for four years. Rodiasse and her husband own a cocoa farm and an animal breeding business.
