Places of shelter are not a target: Israeli airstrikes on UNRWA school in central Gaza
We are deeply saddened by the horrific scenes emerging from an UNRWA-run school in the Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, which has been reportedly targeted by the Israeli army with multiple airstrikes in the early morning hours while displaced families were sleeping, killing 40 people, mostly women and children, according to initial reports from local authorities and the UN Relief and Works Agency
