Face-to-face fundraising

You might see fundraisers representing CARE on a street corner in your local area or going door-to-door in your neighborhood. These are our face-to-face canvassers in action. We build awareness and raise critical funds through these person-to-person conversations.

If you have talked with one of our fundraisers, we hope you learned something new about CARE. And, if you have donated, thank you so much for your generous support. Your support is saving lives and helping millions of people find the way to a better life worldwide.

Partners for Change

Partners for Change are special supporters who commit to a monthly, quarterly, or annual automatic contribution. This support provides lifesaving support for women and families around the world, all year long. They know they can count on Partners for Change to help consistently, over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is face-to-face fundraising?

Face-to-face fundraisers, also known as canvassers, work in cities across the U.S. to raise awareness and critical funds for CARE. Our passionate fundraisers engage in powerful one-on-one conversations about CARE’s work and the importance of recurring giving.

What canvassing agencies does CARE partner with?

CARE partners with trusted professional canvassing agencies to raise awareness and recurring donations on our behalf: BriteVox, GiveBridge, and Personal Fundraising Services.

How can I identify a CARE fundraiser?

All CARE fundraisers will be in CARE-branded apparel, including a photo ID badge and clothing like a branded polo and hat. Canvassers will always have CARE-branded materials and a tablet to collect safe, encrypted payment. For your safety and theirs, CARE fundraisers do not accept cash gifts.
