Ongoing conflict has displaced over 6.1 million people, making it the country with the highest number of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Africa. At the same time, more than 26 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance.

More than 6.8 million people in Ukraine have fled to neighboring countries since the conflict began, and more than 8 million have been internally displaced. All these people, most of them women and children, need support and protection.

More than four million Ukrainian refugees, mostly women, children, and the elderly, have fled the country since the Feb. 24 Russian invasion.
