En los países con mayores indicadores de pobreza, desnutrición, desigualdad y exclusión, estrategias que contribuyan al cumplimiento de los derechos económicos, a la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional de mujeres y jóvenes especialmente productores en pequeña escala (incluyendo a sus familias) para que puedan tener sistemas alimentarios más sostenibles, mejor producción y rentabilidad, equidad y resiliencia. Por lo anterior, CARE basa su experiencia en los colectivos u organizaciones en especial integrados por mujeres, para mejorar sus capacidades tanto de mercado como su productividad, con el fin de que aumenten sus ingresos, que tomen decisiones sobre los mismos, los activos agrícolas y familiares.
