In 2025 alone, CARE reached 58.7 million people across 121 countries, more than half of them women and girls, through programs centered on ending violence, expanding access to education, and lifting up girls’ voices and leadership.
Behind every one of those numbers is a CARE staff member on the ground — building trust in a community, running a girls’ education program, or support maternal health at community clinics. They show up so that girls everywhere can grow up safe, educated, and empowered to lead.
This International Day of the Girl, we’re inviting you to write directly to them.
Take a moment to share a message of support and encouragement with the CARE staff working every day to empower girls, protect their rights, and secure their futures. Your words are a small way to say: we see you, and we’re with you.
Not sure what to write? Here are some ideas!
