Advocate with CARE Action: Jenny's Story

Our Impact

CARE Action and its advocates have championed numerous actions by government leaders — with support from both sides of the aisle — for progress on ending hunger, advancing women’s economic opportunities, and more.

For example, CARE Action advocates have helped to protect U.S. international assistance that delivers lifesaving healthcare for mothers and their babies, feeds children and families, and allows millions to lift themselves out of poverty, strengthening economies and security around the world and here in the U.S.

In addition, in 2016, and again in 2022, CARE Action championed the passage and subsequent reauthorization of the Global Food Security Act, which ensures the U.S. keeps its commitments to ending global hunger through supporting local farmers
