Bianca Oviedo serves as the Program Specialist on the Learning Tours team leading on trip logistics, operations, and research support. She started her career at CARE where she designed, managed, and implemented U.S.-focused humanitarian emergency cash assistance programs. Bianca endeavors to use her technical expertise to highlight key impacts and successful strategies of U.S. development assistance on trips.
Bianca graduated from Miami University with a dual degree: a Bachelor of Arts in political science and comparative religion and a Bachelor of International Studies. Bianca is a first-generation American born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, to Venezuelan and Romanian parents. A polyglot, she speaks English, Romanian, Spanish, and French. This cultural background provides her with excellent cross-cultural literacy and has fueled her passion for international development. She currently resides in Washington, DC where she exercises her love for cooking, music, travel, and spending time outdoors.
