To mark World Humanitarian Day, FOX 5 Atlanta visited CARE’s headquarters to learn about the CARE PACKAGE for Emergencies. The segment featured CARE’s Will Ruff, who spoke about how the kit builds on the legacy of the original CARE PACKAGE and where it has been deployed recently.
The CARE PACKAGE for Emergencies is a compact disaster kit with nearly 40 essential items. It can help a family of four meet their shelter, kitchen, water, and hygiene needs for an entire month, packed into a lightweight, customizable container that can be pre-positioned in areas prone to disasters.
