Circle 75 - A Nationwide Network of Committed Philanthropists - CARE

Circle 75

A man holding a CARE Package walks through the rubble of Berlin with his son and daughter.

To help CARE prepare for the road ahead, we are launching the Circle 75, a nationwide network of 75 committed philanthropists who will support CARE’s vision of a world free from extreme poverty by sharing their expertise and investing in CARE’s future.

CARE was founded in 1945 when 22 American organizations came together to rush lifesaving CARE packages to survivors of World War II. Today, nearly 75 years later, CARE is global leader in the worldwide movement to end extreme poverty.

Over the last 75 years the CARE package has evolved from a cardboard box filled with rations and notes of support to a wide-reaching portfolio of over 950 poverty fighting projects that focus on empowering tens of millions of women and girls across 100 countries.

As CARE commemorates its 75th anniversary in 2021, we are at a unique inflection point. We have made significant progress in the fight against extreme poverty, but there is still so much more to do. To help CARE prepare for the road ahead, we are launching the Circle 75, a nationwide network of 75 committed philanthropists who will support CARE’s vision of a world free from extreme poverty by sharing their expertise and investing in CARE’s future.

At this important moment for CARE – and for the world – we hope you will consider joining this group of committed global citizens.
