Essential Questions
Working in small groups, how can you create an informed message as a tool of communication?

This is the culminating lesson in the unit. The activities encourage students to synthesize what they have learned in the previous five lessons and to use that knowledge to create messages for their peers who are refugees. Students will discuss and analyze the power of words and the importance in assessing the impact their messages may have on their peers.
