On Oct. 1, CARE hosted its flagship fundraising event in Atlanta– Walk In Her Shoes – in celebration of International Day of the Girl.
The event brought to life challenges that women and girls in the developing world face each and every day. Many girls have to walk miles to fetch water for their families. Attendees lifted large buckets of water and raced others. Attendees participated in games used Attendees also wrote messages of hope to Syrian refugees.
