Dr. Jim Yong King, World Bank President
World Bank Group President Dr. Jim Yong Kim, a physician and anthropologist, has long been dedicated to under-served communities and is a strong believer in setting bold targets to reach goals. As the head of the World Bank Group, he won endorsement of the Bank's two new goals: ending extreme poverty by 2030 and boosting shared prosperity for the bottom 40 percent in developing countries.
Anne-Marie Slaughter, President & CEO, New America Foundation
Anne-Marie Slaughter is a former professor at Princeton University, the president and CEO of New America Foundation, and an author. Professor Slaughter formerly served as director of Policy Planning for the Department of State, the first woman to hold that position. (You may also recognize her name from her article "Why Women Still Can't Have It All" in The Atlantic – a viral story that sparked a nation-wide conversation about the state of women's inequality in America today.)
Richard Lugar, President, Lugar Center
Indiana’s Richard Lugar, the longest-serving senator in Hoosier history. He is currently the President of the Lugar Center, a non-profit organization focusing on nuclear non-proliferation, food security, and other critical issues. He was also recently named Professor of Practice and Distinguished Scholar at the new School of Global and International Studies at Indiana University.
