CARE President and CEO Michelle Nunn appeared on WABE, Atlanta’s NPR station to discuss her first year at CARE, crises that CARE is responding to and her future goals for the organization. The Syrian crisis is top of mind, Nunn explained. Millions of Syrian refugees are “trying to reclaim and remake their lives,” she said adding that “they are emblematic of 60 million people around the world who are refugees.”
