Cause-Related Marketing

Building a strong cause marketing campaign takes a few things – a great cause, a great corporation and a great partnership! CARE works with companies in a variety of industries – retail, specialty products, restaurants and food – to create powerful cause related marketing campaigns that connect your company to CARE.

CARE also has a long-term partnership with pureDKNY fragrances. During the 2013 holiday season, special gift sets were available in 20 countries around the world in three signature fragrances – vanilla, verbena and rosewater – and includes information about CARE’s Access Africa program that helps women in Africa build small businesses. CARE also works with pureDKNY to source vanilla - to be used as fragrance - from small-holder women farmers in Uganda.

Gap has been a strong partner of CARE’s for many years through P.A.C.E., a workforce empowerment program for garment workers in Bangladesh. During the 2012 holiday season, Gap expanded its partnership to include a holiday promotion for customers, both in-store and online, through the Gap Give Twice program where 2 percent of the sale of gift cards went to support CARE’s work. Gap was so pleased with the promotion that they extended it for nearly a full year.

WE CARE: Loyalty Programs

Working with your loyalty program customers is a great way to highlight your commitment to CARE. Through special incentives, including discount coupons or loyalty program points, you can reward your customers for their support of CARE.

CARE is proud to be working with Delta Air Lines through its SkyWish program where SkyMiles members can donate their miles to CARE. These donated miles enable CARE to connect with our recipients around the world and allow CARE to channel even more resources directly into projects that empower women worldwide.
