Since 2003, CARE has implemented the Patsy Collins Trust Fund Initiative (PCTFI) to improve access to and quality of education for marginalized girls across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. In 2015, CARE expanded PCTFI to a third cohort of countries reaching marginalized adolescents, particularly girls, (aged 10-19) in seven countries: Cambodia, Kenya, Mali, Nepal, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and India.
