Add your voice to campaigns and petitions to protect women working in the garment industry.

CARE works with a growing movement of individuals and organisations who believe in the value of creating meaningful change for women employed in the garment industry.

Central to this is CARE’s support for a new ILO Convention on Ending Violence and Harassment against women and men in the world of work. We engage with trade unions, governments, industry associations and other partners around the globe to influence change—we want to ensure the specific challenges faced by women are considered and that the voices of women are clearly heard as new global laws are developed.

In numerous countries across the globe, individuals are adding their voices to campaigns in support of stronger protections to address violence and harassment in the world of work.

Support our advocacy to governments and businesses on ending violence and harassment in the world of work.

For Fashion Revolution Week each April, consumers are encouraged to post photos of the labels from their clothes with the hashtag #whomademyclothes in an effort to encourage brands to be more transparent about where they source their products. Individuals can check out Fashion Revolution’s Fashion Transparency Index 2018 to learn more about how transparent your favorite brands are!
