Cindy Abel

A graduate in Management Information System from the University of Dayton, Cindy Abel joined the Andersen Consulting firm (now Accenture) where she rose quickly through the ranks during her eight year tenure.

Together with her husband, Kevin, Cindy founded Abel Solutions, a business solutions consulting firm. Cindy helped run and grow the business during its first ten years of existence, building it to more than 20 employees and greater than five million dollars in annual revenue.

In 2013, Cindy and another partner co-founded Liv2bgirl, a supportive online community where girls are encouraged to nurture and mentor one another. Currently, the organization is seeking investment capital to future their visions of connecting girls everywhere in a way that empowers them.

In 2016, Cindy served the Interim CEO of Hands on Atlanta, an organization that helps individuals, families, corporate and community groups strengthen Greater Atlanta through service at more than 400 nonprofit organizations and schools.  In addition to being a volunteer with Hands On Atlanta since the organization’s inception more than 25 years ago, Cindy was on the Hands on Atlanta Board of Directors for seven years and the Advisory Board for the last 10 years. In 2017, Cindy and Kevin Abel were awarded the Hands On Atlanta Changemaker of the year award.

Cindy and Kevin have three young adult children. Cindy has served as president of the high school PTO for the last three years, and is the past board chairperson of the Vibe Performance Company where one of her daughters danced throughout middle and high school.
