Molly Burke

Ms. Burke was the General Counsel for GE Energy Services, a $17B business providing cleaner, smarter, more efficient energy solutions in more than 100 countries from 1999-2012. During her tenure she built a global legal team of more than 100 lawyers and participated in assessing, acquiring and integrating more than 60 acquisitions. Ms. Burke joined GE in 1995 as a Litigator at Corporate Headquarters managing significant litigation across GE’s businesses.

Since leaving GE, Ms. Burke has focused on community service including serving as the Volunteer COO of Michelle Nunn’s Senate Campaign, leading the Voter Protection program for the Democratic Party of Georgia for the 2014 elections, volunteering at the Georgia Aquarium, CARE USA and serving on Boards including the United Way and Hands On Atlanta Advisory Board.

Prior to joining GE in July 1995, Ms. Burke was a litigation partner in the Seattle office of Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe where she specialized in large commercial litigation. 

Ms. Burke was a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta where she chaired the Strategic Planning and Community Engagement Committees. She has also served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Board of Advisors of Hands on Atlanta.

Ms. Burke received her B.A. from Smith College, magna cum laude, and her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. She was awarded a Fulbright-Hayes Scholarship and studied at St. Anne’s College, Oxford.
